Besides Prof. Dr. Bela H. Buck is the head of the team "Marine Aquaculture, Maritime Technologies and ICZM" at the Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar and Marine Reserach (AWI) in Bremerhaven and teaches in the study course "maritime technologies" at the University of Applied Sience Bremerhaven (Hochschule Bremerhaven).
